hey girl…

I recently took pictures of peyton.  she was looking super cute with her hot pink nails!

we went to the dollar store for a prize after.  now I have two other little girls who want their pictures taken now, for some reason…

I am having a hard time deciding which is my favorite.  so I guess I will have to post the rest later, but for now:

I am so very thankful to be a mother to this sweet girl.  so thankful that my days are spent with her.

I am thankful  for all my girls, even with the crazy, emotional week that was this week.

Motherhood

I {heart} faces has the perfect theme this week.

I was taken back into many memories of breath-taking moments shared between mothers and their children.  Some of them I was lucky enough to capture, others I can only wish that I was able to.

Slice of life.

Life for me lately, has been all about the kids.

It seems like they eat all the time.

After school snacks are a must at our house.

Golden Double Stuff Oreos are usually that fare served.

While I would like to take more time doing all the things that I enjoy, I try to immerse myself in the life that I have chosen: to raise a family.

Pictures are slow in coming around these parts.  I tend to take more time in taking them, wanting them to have meaning. 

But I so enjoy these little snapshots of our life.

(I really like Double Stuff Golden Oreos too.)

(But don’t tell my younger brother, he thinks that is blasphemy.)

So right now, we have lots and lots and lots of snow.

I love it.  I cannot lie.

But I doo look forward to days like this:

Innocent Wonder.

This week’s challenge at I {heart} faces is “Innocent Wonder”.
When I read this theme, my mind immediately went back to this past summer, a lazy Sunday afternoon spent with my little family in the back yard, underneath our sun umbrella, good books in hand, and me, with my camera.
I am still in love with the candids I managed to capture that day.

I’ve been lazy, I can admit that.  I haven’t taken very many pictures lately!  I am hoping to get back into the swing of things, and hopefully this can entice me.

I {heart} faces silhouette..

This week’s challenge at I {heart} faces is “Silhouette”.  I knew I had one of this kiddo jumping on the trampoline..  who would've thought that May was that long ago?!  Apparently it was a while ago.  It took a while to find it!  I thought that this pic was taken in the more recent past, say, August, July maybe?  Just another lesson to teach me just how fast tie really does fly.

It was pretty much the perfect weekend..  could have been more perfect had we camped longer.
