craving summer..

I have loved looking through all the old photos I have not scrapped..  something about that third baby, kiddos starting school and all the fun that brings.

just a few years behind!

these particular photos are from july 2008.  just a few days ago. ;)

liv has been on a roll with her delightful frames!

as soon as I saw these painted frames, I knew this is the layout I would use them on.  the blue paint screamed july to me.

the frames come in a variety of colors, mask included, and different options for the drop shadow, she also has one all ready for you with a staple!

(I tell you, she thinks of everything!)

the weather isn’t exactly screaming summer here, or spring for that matter.  well, it really is screaming “hey!!  it’s spring and you live in utah!!!  enjoy the snow!!”

I wish I were able to capture lynn’s reaction to our springlike weather yesterday morning when we woke to an inch or so of snow.

it was awesome!

I guess I will just warm up looking at all these summery pix!

It’s Springtime in Utah.

Officially.

We have been enjoying wonderful weather, loving every second we get to spend out of doors..  enjoying how long the days are.

Then the weatherman had to open up his mouth.

SNOW.

I tried to change that forecast by showing the weather gods my utmost love and affections.

Lynn pitched in too:

We enjoyed playing outside every second we could to show spring just how much we appreciate the sunshine and warm weather..

I even made cupcakes..

With chocolate butterflies…

They were even FILLED!!

This love fest got us plenty of rain (which I love), some thunder and lightening (which we also love..), all parts of spring that we enjoy.

I even stopped belly-aching about my allergies!!

I thought I had helped Utah (or at least our neck of the woods) to dodge that snowy bullet.

And then I woke up this morning..

To snow.

Thank heavens it is melting!!

(And now my head is rather wet from standing underneath this tree with all that snow melting and dripping on my head!)

Bring it on Spring!

Today was a capri and flip-flop kind of day..

Ashley has even mastered pumping her legs and swinging herself (YAY!).

...dandelion!
she also had a field trip today... it sucks that my schedule (or shall i say peyton's schedule), makes it kind of impossible for me to go... they went to the nursery and learned about all different kinds of plants and trees, how to plant them and how they grow. she got her own little flower to plant at home.
