My sweetie friend, Ally, gave me this!
I have always wanted to be a mom (and a teacher, and a police officer, and a dancer, and a firefighter, and a lawyer even at one time...) always.. it is the greatest blessing that I am a mother. To be given the awesome responsibility to take care of others... to teach them and uplift. I love every second of it...
I give this to all my girlfriends who are in every sense, mothers... we share in challenges, joys, struggles, potty training, pregnancy, deliveries, and many, many sleepless nights.. and countless loads of laundry..

So fun to have a little something different to do with the little hair we do have!

Tippy-Toes..

This is Peyton's favorite place to be.. on top of anything which she can climb.. on her tippy-toes, trying to reach, whatever we've put up, away, and out of her reach..

I am the Cubmaster!!! (Think of that in a similar voice to what Skeletor would have said in He-Man...)
The shirt tie? I know.. it is an extra large, in all fairness to me.. I am contemplating getting a Scout belt, earning some belt loops to adorn it, and wearing it as a shirt dress with some olive drab leggings... what do you think? ;)

Really, I think I am okay with it.. I know that we would really be missing out having our son (to be or not to be..) in our Boy Scout Troop.. we do have the most awesome, most experienced, organized, funnest, he's right in there with the boys, working on achievements (and he's pretty handsome too ;) Christie, you agree? Right?!) Scoutmaster of ALL TIME in our ward.. so I can't compete with that.. nor can I compete with the Cubmaster two masters ago.. she was dang awesome too..
I don't know about how sexy she was in her "master shirt" though...

We LOVE Tigger around here..

We dug out this little rocking Tigger (Ashley got it her second Christmas just after she'd turned one..) thinking that Peyton should be old enough for it now.. she isn't quite ready for her rolling horse she got for Christmas yet..
Turns out, she does love it!! She is a rocker, not a roller ;)

But she's not the only one who loves Tigger..

Hard Day's Work..

I seriously thought I had it pretty rough today.. Clean House Monday.. then Mer got called into work with no time to shovel, at least a little.
Two trucks came in, loaded with furniture (the carpet is now laid on the second and third floors) to unload and get to where it needed to be.
Not done as easy as said, though.
The phone isn't all hooked up, and you need to have that to have an elevator!
No elevator to move furniture up to the second and third floors.
Ouch!
Some of the heavier stuff, needed to be placed somewhere else, temporarily.
Many guys worked very hard today!!
I was ready to quit shoveling 7 inches of the heaviest snow yet this winter.. my house still isn't completely done..
I would so rather be scrapbooking! (That was the mantra playing in my head ALL DAY..)
