It's over!!!!

My headache is still a ragin'.. I thought it would be gone.. but I think it's hormones.
Yesterday was the Blue and Gold Banquet for Cub Scouts.. I was slightly stressed, as all the prep did not work out the way Christie and I thought it would.. there were a few small miracles though! I also had the Arrow of Light Ceremony to perform. It is the highest award (equivalent to the Boy Scouts Eagle) in Cub Scouting.. that equals a big deal.. I was slightly worried about that. I am told it was good..
I started my day of with a chocolate nutrition bar (aka fudge brownie from Paradise Cafe and Bakery.. go there.. yum!) and glass of milk.. a good start to any busy Saturday. I had Peyton, who wanted to live on my hip, so I did things that required only one hand. I suddenly got the urge to deep clean the kitchen, the WHOLE KITCHEN.. that was nice.. took my mind off the stress to come.
So here we are.. Sunday night, living with a headache, but excited to start the day tomorrow.. re-decorate the scrap room :)
We ate stir fry for lunch.. I am sure the chicken breasts came from a chicken that answered to the name "Mindy" when she was alive ;)...

I have had a week for the books.. and it still isn't over with!!!
Tomorrow... I pray for tomorrow to be over with!! (Has there ever been a Blue & Gold Banquet BREAKFAST?? That way, it can be the first of the day, and be over with..)
Then I will be able to catch up, tell you all the funny things the girls have been saying.. play with paint (for my craft room :) yay!) and put together my IKEA shelves and finish organizing my house!! Spring fever has hit, HARD..

So.. I think my headache is the me coming down from such a fun day... or, maybe stress... drinking too much root beer?.. or lack of sleep.. four people in one bed, not conducive to good sleep.. or maybe the diet coke.. it has been a while.. or PMS.. ah, heck.. all the above?

The shirt tie? I know.. it is an extra large, in all fairness to me.. I am contemplating getting a Scout belt, earning some belt loops to adorn it, and wearing it as a shirt dress with some olive drab leggings... what do you think? ;)

Really, I think I am okay with it.. I know that we would really be missing out having our son (to be or not to be..) in our Boy Scout Troop.. we do have the most awesome, most experienced, organized, funnest, he's right in there with the boys, working on achievements (and he's pretty handsome too ;) Christie, you agree? Right?!) Scoutmaster of ALL TIME in our ward.. so I can't compete with that.. nor can I compete with the Cubmaster two masters ago.. she was dang awesome too..
I don't know about how sexy she was in her "master shirt" though...
