I am calling it “excitement”.

When Peyton gets excited, she tends to repeat herself.

Like, as in, a sort of stutter.

But it’s not.

I am calling it “excitement”.

She’ll do it when she talks about anything with which she is excited, but it mostly happens with my name.  When she wants to get my attention or tell me something important/exciting.

The other day, it went something like this:

“M-m-mom.  Mo-mommy-mom.  M-m-m-m-m-m-mommm.  Mom.”

“Pey just say mom one time.”

“Okay.  Mom one time.”

“I meant just say mom once.”

“Mom, once.”

It went from there, in a circle.

So I guess I will get to hear her cute, excited little voice more and more!   That little brain is moving faster than her little mouth can handle.

David went through a studdering phase as well. Then as suddenly as it appeared, it disappeared.
