Meet the newest belly-button!

We have a belly-button! Peyton's umbilical cord fell off last night. This has been the second most-awaited event in our household this year, the first was her arrival, of course...
She seems to be quite tickled with what a big girl she now is!
Dad had surgery on his other eye yesterday. I hope that no news = good news... I haven't heard anything. We aren't as worried this time around. We now know what to expect.
I am enjoying my new-found freedoms...
Freedom from scraping my belly on the shower doorway.
Freedom from awkwardly leaning over, well, everything.
Being able to comfortably move around and get out of bed! No more pulled muscles!
Freedom from having to take an antacid... El Matador was so fun last night (we saw you J & J Mayes!). But not having heartburn was funner.
The most hormonal moment I've had yet, postpartum, came a couple mornings ago while I was watching GTU, they were having a maternity fashion show. I seriously started to cry! I am very happy to be out of my maternity clothes, but I miss them at the same time.
I need to make my "embrace" blocks, like bad...
